The 4th, 8th and 12th houses are known as spheres of endings or soul. These houses reveal the powerful imprints of family life, commencing with the family of origin in the 4th, where our earliest impressions and experiences of family life provide the basic template for our emotional stability. The participation in the parental relationship as shown in the 8th informs our intimate attachments in adult life. And in the 12th, where we stand on the shoulders of the generations gone before us, we confront our cultural and ancestral legacy, often hidden from conscious light. We will explore the dynamics of these houses and their influences on our adult patterns and perceptions of relationship.
